White Sage (salvia apiana) is revered as a sacred plant by native people of the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, where it grows indigenously. The smoke from burning White Sage is used to cleanse and purify people and spaces, clearing away negative energy, emotions and thoughts. The smoke is also believed to be a conduit to carry prayers to the Creator. When burning White Sage, call in positive energy and focus on an uplifting mantra.
The White Sage we use in our smudge products is sustainably and ethically sourced from a grower California.
Cones are packed in tins of six. Approximately 12 to 15 minutes of burn time per cone.
Smudge sticks are approximately 5 to 6 inches in length and between 1 1/4 to 2 1/4 inches wide.
About Smudging: Smudging is the ancient ceremonial practice of lighting dried herbs on fire and wafting the smoke around a space, person or in the seven sacred directions to clear away negative energy, connect with the spirit world and promote inner healing.
